San Juan, Day 3

I am stuffed.
Today was really nice. Mom & I slept in MAD late...
upside, we were well rested.
downside, we got started MAD late :/

But all was well. We began the day at MOJITOS



The food here is phenomenal! We got the mofongo & garlic chicken - HELLA GOOD!








Even Cody enjoyed it!




After lunch, we jumped on the open trolly. Intending to go to the Black Forest, we rode it to the historic center instead. Didn't matter tho, it was beautiful!










There was too much to see! I couldn't shoot fast enough! The trolly ride picked up another set of school kids - this bunch was a bit older but still shouted at people in passing cars and gave them the finger - lol














By the time the trolly ride was over so was the day. We didn't make it back to the beach so we did an impromptu products shoot near the old brewery



We walked around Old San Juan admiring the colorful buildings and people of PR.









The highlight of the day was finding this guy in the pet shop...


I came damned close to buying a friend for Cody! When Cody saw him, he wasn't sure what to make of him - lol. He tried to make friends but the little dog was a tough cookie. He barked, peed & poked out his chest. He looked like a tiny gorilla! It was pretty funny.

Next stop, the tattoo parlor :D



Neither of us got tattooed but I was very proud of moms bravery - we couldn't bring Cody inside so she had to get pierced without me.
All in all, it was a good evening. I got to bond with mom & now Cody knows dogs exist in San Juan :D
