We got here later than expected - the airline didn't tell me I needed to bring Cody's rabies certificate - and had to change our flight from 7am to 7pm! I was salty as hell but it gave me & mom time to catch up on some much need sleep and repack our bags
When we got to JFK, the second time, check in was pretty cool (Kathy, you were hating but we forgive you) and it when mom's bag got pulled, they took her tanning oil. No biggie. Since this is our first trip together, we decided not to let anything jack it up. Cody did great on the plane. He was so well behaved & didn't make a peep the whole flight. Everyone fell in love with him and either wanted to pet him or take a picture of/with him. He doesn't seem to mind - lol
We slept in late - the beds here are sooooo comfy - then headed straight to the beach. There a plenty of beaches here. Since it was late, we kept it local and went to the beach near Condado. Small, quiet and near a Starbucks
Mom and I laid out in the sand. Since it's Cody's first time to the beach, I spent a good amount of time making sure he didn't get sand in his eyes. But no sooner than we got there, he had to poop. We walked all over and he hurled the oatmeal I'd given him earlier. That's how we met our new friend J.
After the poop, I took Cody to the water. At first, he was ok with it but when the waves came ashore and his paws got wet he was ready to go! We ran along the beach & eventually I picked him up and carried him into the sea. To my astonishment, he swam back all by himself!!!
It was so cool! He's a pretty good swimmer too!
After showing off our products to J, he suggested some places for Wednesdays photo shoot and we were able to give our new pal a sample of Essence of Lady J (EOLJ) for his birthday!
Time to eat... Casino later tonite
